The basic philosophy behind the development of the G5040 Kombi was to design a machine capable of combining the processes of baling and wrapping and offering a long service life that is not dependent on a particular baler and operates with singular efficiency. This innovative technology revolutionized the baling-wrapping equipment available on the market and was awarded with the silver medal at Agritechnica in 1997. Ever since that time, the GÖWEIL G5040 Kombi has evolved into the most versatile and reliable baler-wapper combination available thanks to Göweil’s long years of know-how and numerous advancements in this technology.

G5040 KOMBI G5040 KOMBI Work flow The following steps explain how simple and convenient it is to work with the G5040 baler-wrapper combination: BALING PROCESS BALE TRANSFER WRAPPING PR 1 2 3 The feed is scooped up by the pick-up – the baling and the net binding process are controlled by the round baler. As soon as the binding process starts, the wrapping table moves to the transfer position. The tailgate opens automatically, passing the bale on directly without allowing it to touch the ground. The tailgate closes simultaneously with the table’s return to the wrapping position. This minimizes the time needed for the transfer. The wrapping process starts automatically, causing of film layers evenly around the bale.

While closing, the cutter levers press the two films against the cutting knives, effecting a clean cut of the films. The film ends are reliably held in place by the film cutters. The process is fully automatic. When the bale is dropped, the wrapping table moves to the rear and lowers all the way to the ground. This unique tipping geometry ensures that the bale is deposited in an extraordinarily gentle way. The wrapping table will then move back to the front again and be ready to receive the next bale transfer!
